The Golden Age Group of our church offers us a place in the church hall to meet and communicate with the many senior members of the community. We share our experiences, enjoy delicious luncheons at a minimal cost twice a month and reverse the usual process of encroaching isolation! We need to hear about a piece of each other’s lives. Belonging to our group brings us joy in togetherness. Our most recent excursion was on May 27, 2009, where we went to Theatre Three in Port Jefferson and saw Elton John’s, Aida. Afterwards, we had dinner at ZORBAS Restaurant in Port Jefferson Station. A good time was had by all. The following are the officers of the organization:
