GOYA
is the acronym for the Greek Orthodox Youth of America
and our parish is proud of our youth's
participation in GOYA. Headed by the
very dedicated advisors Mr. and Mrs. Joe Schmidt,
our GOYA boys and girls participate
in many sports, but they especially
excel in the sport of Volleyball. They
compete with other GOYAn's from all
of the Greek Orthodox Parishes on Long
Island as well as other Parishes in
the Tri-State area particularly during
the traditional New York Archdiocesan
Olympics. Our GOYAn's have been consistently
earning GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE medals
at the Archdiocese Olympics for the past several
years and our Parish is proud of them!!
